A good day for a nap

I woke with a massive headache this morning. For about 5 hours now I have been in a world of hurt. Ouch. It's starting to lighten a bit, but it's not over yet. I would like to lay down for a while, but then I would fall asleep, and that wouldnt be good with the kiddos running around! We are supposed to get more rain and storms later. Hopefully it will all miss us though. No sun at all today. It looks cold and wet out. Yuck. We aren't getting into much today. Im hoping to feel better later and take the boys back out to play. Since the weather has gotten nicer, housework has taken a back seat. There is a lot I need to get done. I'll get to it. Sometime. My brother called us this morning on Skype and got to see Dylan. As always Dylan didn't have much to say, but at least they got to see each other. His interent connection wasn't the best. But thats kind of expected where he is. He seems to be doing good. I guess they haven't done much yet.

I messed around with a couple of the pictures I took the other day. All of the animals really enjoy looking out the door. At times there are fights over who gets to be in front of the door. Max and Chloe can manage to share. Diesel, the other kitty will NOT share. Notice you haven't seen many pictures of her. She's nocturnal. After the kids to go bed is when she comes out usually. Unless it is to lay in the sun in front of the door.

  4. Great post. I can totally understand about the housework as the weather has gotten good enough to get outside with children. One thing you can try the next time you have a headache is to gently massage, using your thumb and forefinger, the top of the webbing between said fingers on the opposite hand. Kind of pinch the webbing between your finger and thumb right where the bones meet up.......you will know when you find the right spot. Rub both hands for about 2-5 min. and it should ease off the headache. Drink lots of water as well. Not tea, soda, flavored water....just regular water. Hope that helps. Hope today is better for you.

  5. Thanks! That's Reflexology, right? I have a whole book on that somewhere around here. Maybe I should dig it out. I will definately give that a shot next time. The headache finally went away.
