Holy rain Batman. Why is it STILL raining?! Why won't it STOP raining? Haven't we had enough rain? Why is it barely 40 degrees today when it was near 70 yesterday? Do you know? Me either. All I DO know is that I am sick and tired of the rain. I'm tired of these cold temps. I am tired of the rain. Did I already say that?
I was a bit irritated with Dylan this morning. This happened to be the one morning Ethan decides to sleep past 7 am. Which also means that I get to stay in bed. Well, this morning, while we were sleeping, Dylan for some reason wakes up and decided to raise a little bit of hell. I hear him knock on something. I'm not sure if it was the window or door, but he is in his room making noise. I lay my head back down and ignore it. Then he does it again, only louder and longer. GRRR. I get up. Go down and tell him that he needs to be quiet because we are still sleeping. He knows to stay in his room until we come and get him in the mornings. It's never late by the way. So why he decided to be a turd this morning is beyond me. Ethan ended up sleeping until a little after 8! Man! I could have slept in a little!
Despite all of that I have been a little productive today. What else is there to do on a rainy cold day? Well, other than sleep. I finally got Dylan to clean his room right. Every 2 or 3 days I make him clean up the toys in his room and put everything back. Well lately he has just been throwing all of his little stuff into a large dump truck he has and says its clean. So today I dumped it all out, took out the dump truck and drilled it into his head that what I mean when I say clean is to put everything where it goes. After lots of frustration on his part, its done. It won't stay like that, but for now, its done.
Both boys seem to have a cold too. Ethan is a giant ball of snot. And Dylan has a cough. We had been cold free for a couple of weeks, and it was so nice. I hate colds. Blech.
Like I said yesterday, we have an open house at the preschool for Dylan tonight! I'm sure you will be hearing about it here, tomorrow!!
Hope the rain goes away soon!

Hi Christina! Sorry about not being able to sleep in. Kids are never on our time agenda and it's so frustrating. I'm so grumpy when I don't get my sleep so my kids learned to let me sleep at all costs (it took awhile.. they are 10 and 8 now!).
