Week 20 photo

Another sunset. But the sun was gorgeous. I also wanted to show a difference between photos. This first one I want to show you is not as dramatic, and not as beautiful. In this first photo I exposed the photo so you could see detail in some of the surrounding things. Just not that pretty...

Now, on this second photo, I exposed for the sun only. Meaning I only wanted the sun to show up correctly. To show up like I was seeing it. I didnt care about the detail in the surrounding area. Same photo, just a few seconds difference. But this second one is much more dramatic, and much prettier.

Friday the 13th! Week 15 of 52

I hope everyone has a nice weekend. I took a few photos this morning. And you will notice my assistant in a few of them, haha!!

Week 14 photo

Not a whole lot happening this week but it has been one very long week. Dylan has been on spring break. I get used to the coming and going 3 days a week, so yeah, this week has been pretty laid back. In addition to this weeks photo, I also took some of Dylan trying to feed a calf. It didnt last long because the calf wasnt too interested, and to be honest, neither was Dylan. He wanted to pet it, but he worried more about what his papaw was doing in the tractor. Oh well. Tractors are more fun than calves I guess.

Foto Friday! And 1/52

Its been a very long time since I have taken the time to link up for all of the great link ups happening today. Actually its been a while since I have felt like I have anything worth sharing. So first, a few of Ethan. He got a toy computer type thingy for Christmas, and carries it around from time to time and acts like he is working. He will find something to sit on and have his computer on his lap. So cute! And needless to say that I was able to make my photo for my Project 52.

And here are a few that I snapped this morning. First day in a while that we have had a lovely sunny day! So now to the link up and Project 52.

Fall Colors in a Flower

Here are some pictures I took of mums. They are gorgeously colored. They scream "fall" and make me smile. So I snapped a few pictures of them while I had the chance, before they were gone, and edited them a bit. I am also going to use these to link up. I haven't done that in a while, so I figured it was about time.

 

How I Spent My Morning

So the assignment from this week's photo class was Abstract Color. I have been having an awful time with it. I don't do abstract well. I'm not that creative. But this morning I went to Google for some inspiration. And found it. So I spent the rest of the morning finding props and snapping photos. The funnest part of these photos was editing them.
