I was given a chance to pass along an opportunity to get a free E-Cookbook. I checked it out before passing it on. Depending on your email, it may take a bit of time for the confirmation to get to you. Also be sure to check your spam folder in case. It took my email about 15 minutes for it to come through. It is from Chef Jeff. He also has a website located at Dinnerevolution.com If you are interested, once you click on the link, you just enter your name and email. I just dont know...
I have started a post 3 times now. Each time I have erased it. I am just tired. Tired of the kids fighting, both of them whining. I am not sleeping well at night. I can't shut down my brain at night. I don't know. I'm just struggling with myself. I feel very low right now. Very.
I could go on, but I won't you've heard it all before here.

Trick or Treat!
Yesterday was a long day. Dylan was having his Halloween party at school. They were having a trick or treat for all of the kids in the morning, so anyone who was available was asked to stay and pass out candy. We were supposed to do it outside and sit in our cars, but it rained. So we had to move inside. Mom met me in town to take Ethan for a bit so that I could stay with Dylan. After I did that, I left and got Ethan and did my grocery shopping, and then back to get Dylan.
Ethan was done with being in a car seat at that point. We got home and had a quick lunch. He was so grumpy! Nap for Ethan, rest for Dylan and me! I ended up waking Ethan up at 5 pm from his nap. Poor kid was exhausted. We had a quick dinner and headed out to go Trick or Treating. Ryan met us in town (he is still working in the fields). We only managed one block before Ethan decided that he was done. Ryan carried him and he rested his head on Ryan's shoulder. They had enough candy anyway. So we went up to Ryan's mom and dad so they could give the boys something for Halloween. We stayed for a bit then came home to get the boys in bed. I was so ready for them to be in bed!
Anyway, to the good part, the pictures from the day. I'm not showing pictures from his school trick or treat because there are other people in them.
Yes, I am one of those weird moms who sometimes like to dress their kids alike. Since this was the first year that I had to actually buy costumes, I just bought them both the same. I also get them the same pajamas to wear on Christmas morning. Ryan hates it. I like it. So too bad Ryan, I win. I'm the mommy. Its not like I match them to go grocery shopping!
So now that November is here I am getting anxious for the holiday season. I enjoy buying gifts for the kids and watching them all open up their gifts. Its a nice feeling. While I was at Walmart the other day I did manage to get one stocking stuffer for each boy. Its just a cheapo toy, but its something they saw at a friend's house and liked. They will probably drive me nuts with it or break it within a week, but it was only $2! Can't pass that up. They will be happy for a while at least! I also picked up a gift for one of the little girls on my side of the family. And for the other 3 girls, I know what I am going to get them I just need to order it. Then I will figure out the rest of the family. I am so ready!
Happy November!

Fall Colors in a Flower
Here are some pictures I took of mums. They are gorgeously colored. They scream "fall" and make me smile. So I snapped a few pictures of them while I had the chance, before they were gone, and edited them a bit. I am also going to use these to link up. I haven't done that in a while, so I figured it was about time.

My Last Class
Last night was the final night of photography class. I am glad I did it, I just wish it didn't turn into an inconvienence like it did. Its done now though. Our last assignment was portraits. I of course put it off until last minute. I spent a couple of mornings trying to get decent pictures of the boys while the light was decent. They came out ok, but nothing impressive. The light was pretty good in each shot though. So I thought today I would show you a few.
I really want a new lens. It is a totally different lens than I have now. Last year, when I got my camera, I felt limited by the kit lens. I wanted a zoom lens. I enjoy taking landscape shots. The kit lens wouldn't zoom enough for me. Now, though, I want a prime lens. A lens that doesn't zoom. Something better for portraits or close up shots. So that I can get closer to things. I am doing some looking around and then I get confused. So that's where I am now. Confused. So who knows. I sure don't. But I would like to try something a little different.

Monday is here again
I really wasn't ready for Monday. This was the first morning in a long time that at 8am, Ethan was NOT screaming his head off to get out of his crib. To get out the door in time, I had to get up and get everyone up. I could have slept for a little while longer. Tomorrow? He will be up at like 6:30. We didn't do anything this weekend. I was glad really. I didn't really feel like leaving again. So we didn't.
Ryan tried to get some more beans in, and was planning to do more today, but it rained this morning. So no go on that one. Tonight is my last photography class. After this it should be a pretty easy and quiet week. No places to be...no appointments. Just preschool and back.
Since there isn't much happening right now, I want to share some photos from the first week of harvest.

And I've had these pictures for a few months. The sky one evening was a really weird but pretty shade of purple. These photos are un-edited. I did not mess with the colors!
Have a nice week!
